LineageOS 14.1 Tuna...cont.

No news for the past few days...haven't even got the time to look into pending issues :-( atm stuck trying to port a new device...there are few things which are beyond my understanding, but where there is a will there is a way ;-) on the verge of giving up, but I'm going to give it a shot for the next couple of days...then back to tuna...dw, if there's really a cool feature being merged on upstream I'll release another build, but there's nothing really interesting atm ;-)

Unlegacy...some potential good news

So, after countless hours/days/weeks of trying to fix some things, I've finally managed to boot unlegacy aosp into enforcing mode, with gps working & also native wifi/usb tethering which were not even working for a couple of months now.   Getting this to boot took me much longer than I expected, it was a tough nut to crack, unlike LinageOS. 👀

In call volume is still an issue, I haven't really had the time to look into it & battery life is also a concern (& no, it's not defective batteries)....These, of course, affect also LineageOS build.👷

LineageOS 14.1...tuna...cont.

Working on another update; what to expect in the next update:

->Green line fix in recorded video thumbnails
->Add zRAM (not to worry, I'm aware that in the past there were reports that Ducati used to fail because of this, however so far I'm not encountering any issues whatsoever...more testing needed, yet so far phone seems a hell lot more stable)
->Address a bunch of vulnerabilities in kernel (CVE patches)
...merging more patches as we speak.
->Address more SELinux denials, remember we're on enforcing mode! - it was a bold move to say the least & right now most of the commits related with this are a mess - will address this at a later stage, for the time being I don't think this deserves utmost priority..

LineageOS 14.1 - Tuna....cont....

"-Green lines in recorded video thumbnails, no issues whatsoever with actual video playback!  (at this stage I have no clue what's going on here, but you never know....)"

This will be fixed in the next release ;)

Edit...indeed, but fix borked video playback :( ...looking into it...

Edit2: That was quick :-O fixed completely!

-InCall Volume (sounds like an issue with audioserver vs mediaserver stuff)

oh...& I forgot to add, Credits & Kudos to @Ziyan & @Mwisbest from XDA for the work they've done on Gnex.  🙌🙌🙌
